自分がまだ幼い頃、祖父に連れて行ってもらった倉ヶ嶽。
When I was young my father brought me to Kuragadate.

祖父曰く、昔のお殿様「冨樫氏」が一向一揆で追い詰められ、馬に乗ったまま池に逃げ込みそのまま亡くなり、お盆になると馬の鞍だけが浮いてくるという事から由来があるとか無いとか・・・にしては、くら（倉・鞍）の字が違うような・・・
“Mr. Togashi”, a former grandfather, was killed in riot. He escaped going into a pond, but while riding a horse, passed away as it was, so when Bon festival comes, only the horse’s saddle comes to float,…, It seems that the character of the kura (warehouse / saddle) is different …

場所は野田山の奥から行けたり、窪から行けたり、鶴来からもアクセス出来ます。細い道ですが舗装された道をひたすら登っていきます。段々と眼下には金沢市内を見渡せる場所が何箇所かあり、自分が訪れた際は天気も良く海まで見ることが出来ました。
You can arrive to the place from the back of Noda Mountain,from the interior,and you can also access it from Tsurugi.
It is a narrow road, but I will climb up the paved road all the time.
There were several places to look over Kanazawa city and because of the nice weather, it was possible to see the sea when I visited it.

倉ヶ嶽の下には池があり車を止める事も出来ます。
There is a pond under Kuragadake where you can also stop the car.

農業用の溜池があり、よく見ると稚魚が泳いでいました。
A pond for agriculture, and looking closely, small fishes were swimming.

池の周りには遊歩道があり、軽いハイキングも出来ます。
There is a boardwalk around the pond, and light hiking is also possible.

せっかくなので、一周してみました。
Because it was awesome, I tried a round.

途中にはロープをつたって岩場を登ったり、軽いアトラクションもあり結構楽しめます。
On the way you can have fun climbing by rope.

頂上からは金沢市内を一望出来る大パノラマが見ることが出来ました。
新緑が気持ちの良いこの時期にオススメのスポットです。
we saw Kuragadake from the top and the a big panorama from where you can overlook Kanazawa city.
It is a recommended spot when the fresh green sprouts can be seen.

※山の中なので熊やイノシシなどの遭遇に注意が必要です。訪れる際はそれなりの装備をお勧めします！
